What's the Wealth Crawl?
Similar to an indy bookstore crawl or a bar crawl, but for Black-owned businesses. From August 28 to September 8, stop by cafes, shops, makers, and artists across Indianapolis. The more places you visit, the more chances you have to win a gift card from the Indy Chamber.
THE WHY
Why it matters
Spending at Black-owned businesses keeps dollars, and wealth in the community. That's one of the core ideas behind By Design, the City's effort to remove barriers to building wealth in Indianapolis. Although the plan is still taking shape. The Wealth Crawl is one of the first actions in the plan that is taking shape that you can engage with right now.
